TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A cold front continues to approach the area, dropping a few showers across the western Big Bend and southwest Georgia. This cold front is not expected to drop temperatures too much, but our atmosphere will dry out a little for Thursday.
Tonight, rain chances remain through midnight with scattered showers and a rumble of thunder possible. After midnight, we'll be left with cloudy skies, possible dense fog and lows near 60 degrees.
Thursday will begin cloudy, but thanks to the slightly drier air behind the cold front, we'll see a mostly sunny sky by the afternoon hours. Daytime highs heat to the mid 70s with a light and variable wind. Rain is not expected to be a factor in the forecast. Thursday night will be another partly cloudy evening with lows in the mid 50s.
