MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Already, around one inch of rain has fallen in several locations west of the Suwannee River, with some totals already exceeding four inches after periods of heavier rain this morning. A slight break is occurring in the late-day, but more spots of downpours lurk to the west and offshore and are set to roll inland this evening through the early-morning hours. Cloudy conditions are forecast otherwise, with lows in the low to mid 70s. Isolated thunderstorms are possible, and one or two stronger ones offshore can produce a waterspout briefly. An additional one to four inches of rain are possible through Thursday with highs mainly in the 80s. The moisture stream will become reduced Friday, with noticeable drying and warming over the weekend through early next week.
