MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

More clouds, more moisture, more scattered showers and thunderstorms this evening. Highest rain chances will be in southwestern and interior south Georgia through late-night, where isolated stronger wind gusts are possible along with frequent lightning. Leftover clouds and fog are possible again Thursday morning with lows in the mid 60s to near 70°. Rain chances will be focused along the stalled, but meandering, frontal zone across the region Thursday afternoon, reaching more western counties but leaving isolated shower coverage in the Suwannee Valley. Highs will range from the upper 70s west to the mid 80s east. By the weekend, a stronger push from the upper levels will force the front farther south, allowing partial clearing and a cool-down in temperatures before another moisture surge occurs Monday.
