Posted

This is one interesting fact you may find hard to believe since it has been a cold winter.

On this day in 1987 low pressure formed in Manitoba, Canada. This low was so strong that it pulled up warm air from the Gulf of Mexico. The air was so warm that more than forty cities in the North Central U.S. reported record high temps. Some of the cities included North Platte, NE and Rapid City, SD which saw a record high temp of 73 degrees.
