TALLAHASSEE,Fla. (WTXL) --
On this day in 2004, according to the National Weather summary, a large snowstorm pounded the metropolitan area of Charlotte, NC. At least 20" of snow fell there while 11.6" fell at the airport. This snowfall made this Charlotte's third largest snowstorm on record.
