MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Tropical Storm Cindy (as of the 10:00am CT advisory) has 50 mph sustained winds at the center of circulation, though the storm's rain continues to be well displaced east of the center.
The storm center is forecast to make landfall somewhere near the Texas/Louisiana border early Thursday morning as a tropical storm.
Heavy rain threats and a tornado threat continue for parts of the Gulf Coast. North Florida and South Georgia will see sporadic rain, though.
In addition, a tornado threat will exist for areas of the Western Florida Panhandle, Southern Alabama, and points west.
