Update (11 p.m.) -- Tropical Storm Ana has winds sustained at 60 mph and is expected to make landfall in the early morning on Sunday as a tropical storm before quickly losing tropical characteristics.
Afterward, the remnants will be carried to the northeast as a trough from the west moves in to carry the storm through. The primary threat, some locally heavy rainfall at times with gusty winds.
Tropical Storm Warnings are in effect from South Santee River, SC to Cape Lookout, NC.
