MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Tropical Depression Four is moving northwestward towards the Southeastern Bahamas at around 9 mph. Winds are sustained at 35 mph and it is slowly organizing and expected to turn into Tropical Storm Cristobal by Sunday. The forecast track has shifted a bit east, away from Florida. Interests along the east coast of the U.S. should still monitor the system closely as it strengthens and travels towards to the north/northwest. By midweek, Cristobal is expected to strengthen into a hurricane. We will continue to update you on this system as new updates become available.
