MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- TWO areas of disturbed weather have the potential to become tropical depressions by later this week.
One disturbance has a 50% chance of organization within the next five days. This area of low pressure is several hundred miles east of the Windward Islands, moving west at about 15 mph. It is expected to continue on this track through the Caribbean. This system does not pose any threat to the U.S. at this point in time. It is being designated as "Invest 95L".
Another disturbance right on the heels of the first is a little less organized, but it has a 30% chance of tropical development within the next five days.
