TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- Earl is still a tropical storm with sustained winds of 40 mph and is moving west at 10 mph. Since Earl is still a threat a tropical storm warning has been issued for the southern Bay of Campeche coast of Mexico. Over the weekend Earl should move inland for good over south-central Mexico, and the system is forecast to dissipate on Sunday. The main threat from Earl continues to be heavy rains over a large portion of Central America and southeastern Mexico.
