MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- As of the 5 p.m. advisory, Tropical Depression Bonnie has winds of up to 30 mph, with movement being stationary. This does not bode well for the Carolinas as that means the same area will continue to see more rain dumped over land. Rip current risks will stay elevated along the southeast U.S. coast as well. Bonnie is expected to turn northeast shortly, bringing a rain threat to the Mid-Atlantic. It is not expected to re-intensify.
