The Atlantic Basin is looking quiet and is not expected to have any tropical development in the next 48 hours. A ridge of high pressure is building in the northern Atlantic Ocean will prevent any storm formation in that area. Tropical moisture is being pushed from the Caribbean into Florida. A majority of the peninsula extending from the Big Bend through south Florida will continue to experience cloud cover and scattered showers and thunderstorms.
