TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The tropics remain quiet as we close out the second month of hurricane season. Last weekend, a cluster of storms did have a possibility of becoming a tropical system west of the African coast by a thousand miles, but dry air along with Saharan dust fed into that system, so the storms fell apart.
