MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- There are no active systems in the Atlantic Basin and as of now, nothing looks likely to develop within the next five days.
In the Pacific Ocean, however, there are two tropical cyclones. Hurricane Andres, which has quickly weakened to a Category 1 storm, and Tropical Storm Blanca, expected to develop into a major hurricane this week.
Andres will continue to weaken as it tracks through the colder waters to its north and west. It is not a threat to land.
Blanca, however, looks to track close to Baja California late this week as a possible hurricane, though likely not as a major hurricane.
