Aside from generally cloudy skies and showers across the Gulf of Mexico today, there is no tropical activity there at this time. Turning our eyes towards the central Atlantic, we are now watching tropical storm Lorenzo. Lorenzo could strengthen a little during the day today before weakening in the next few days. The tropical storm is gradually turning to the right towards the ENE and has max wind speeds around 40 mph, it will not be a threat to our area.
