TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- An area of activity southwest of the Cape Verde Islands has a 70% chance of cyclonic formation over the next 5 days. Environmental conditions are expected to be favorable for development. A tropical depression will likely form as the system continues to move west-northwest.
