Gaston: Gaston looks like it reached its max strength and now it will begin its steady weakening trend as it gets picked up by upper level winds and pulled toward the Azores. The islands there may see tropical storm force winds of up to 60 mph.
Tropics: Elsewhere in the Tropics, a vigorous wave over Africa is expected to move over water in the next day or so. It has a 40% chance of developing into a depression or tropical storm in the next five days.
