The tropics look to be very quiet as a whole. In fact, the Atlantic Ocean currently has copious amounts of dry air across the region limiting the potential for any system to develop in the next handful of days. As for the Gulf of Mexico, the area looks to be relatively quiet as the remnants of Fernand lingers over Mexico, near Veracruz. This system though has quickly dissolved and has become solely a rain maker to that region as it poses no threat to the United States. Overall, there should be no developing tropical depressions or storms over the next couple of days, but if anything should develop though turn to the ABC Storm Team for your latest updates.
