TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The first official full month of hurricane season ends on a quiet note. Earlier this month, Tropical Storm Bill made landfall in Texas before transitioning to a Depression while still holding tropical characteristics very far inland towards the Ozarks. The month before, tropics season got started early as Ana made landfall near the Carolinas drenching the Mid-Atlantic.
As of now, no tropical systems are expected to form through the holiday weekend.
