TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Tropical Storm Kate continues to push northbound in the western Atlantic paralleling the United States shoreline. Luckily, a sweeping cold front that pushed through our region yesterday will keep Kate's track offshore. It is expected to strengthen into a hurricane in the coming days, but it won't impact any more island nations in the Atlantic.
Despite this being a late-season tropical system, hurricane season does officially continue until the end of this month.
Check in this afternoon for further tropical updates.
