Today is shaping up to be a carbon copy of yesterday, with highs reaching the low 90’s and muggy conditions outside. A weak frontal boundary will approach the area this afternoon and slowly drift southwards tonight and tomorrow, reaching central Florida by tomorrow night. The front will trigger some showers and storms today and tomorrow, with a 30% chance each afternoon. A broad high pressure system over the Great Lakes takes control and dries us out slightly, keeping rain chances 20% or less Thursday and Friday. Rain chances increase again over the weekend and early next week as tropical moisture filters up from the Gulf of Mexico. Temperatures through the week will moderate to near average, with highs in the highs 80’s and lows in the high 60’s.
