MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- A stretched-out field of clouds in the central North Atlantic has diminished further in overall organization and now has a minimal chance to become a subtropical or tropical system, remaining in the open Atlantic over 1,000 miles east of Bermuda.
The rest of the basin remains generally absent of any systems that could develop into tropical cyclones through most of this week.
