No major disturbances are present in the Atlantic basin that warrant immediate concern for future tropical development.

A broad frontal boundary is draped across the western Atlantic, stretching into the northern Gulf.  It's unlikely that a tropical low will form along this boundary.

A wave of tropical moisture in the lower latitudes of the north Atlantic, a few hundred miles west of the west African coastline, also is not exhibiting signs of rapid development or intensification.
