Tropical Depression #2 is moving over land in central America. The system should gradually weaken but continue to present a heavy rain threat to portions of Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala.
Elsewhere, an elongated wave of moisture is encountering fast upper-level winds near the Lesser Antilles. The wind shear will prevent this system from gaining and rapid organization.
There are no other areas of concern in the tropical waters of the Atlantic basin.
