The leftovers of the former Hurricane Danny are just south of Puerto Rico, but are also encountering swift upper-level winds that would hinder any development efforts. Reformation into a tropical storm or depression is not likely.
Another wave of disturbed weather is set to emerge off the west Africa coast, but it is too soon to determine its potential for future tropical cyclone development.
