MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

The effects of high-pressure systems intensify over the next 24 hours and beyond, which means a generally clear sky and a dry pattern for the near-term future. Overnight, lows temps will reach the upper 50s in most inland spots, then just a few patches of clouds will develop Wednesday afternoon during the warm-up to the upper 80s. There will be no rain chance through the remainder of the work week, nor will there be any big chances for cooling, as 90° highs will be possible by Friday.  Over the weekend, we'll be squeezed between a weak front in the Deep South and a broad low-pressure swirl off the east coast; these features can create more clouds, but opportunities for showers or storms are not all too high as it stands now.
