MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

A few showers will linger across the area in a scattered fashion through sunset, but heavy rain or active thunderstorms will be isolated.  Partial clearing is forecast overnight with ongoing mugginess and lows in the mid 70s.  Wednesday’s wind pattern may favor showers and storms staying closer to the coast, which can lead to less rain coverage and hotter afternoon conditions.  Highs will range from the upper 80s at the shore to mid 90s interior, and feels-like temps can reach 100° to 110° in some cases.  Shower and storm development will generally increase by the end of the week with a frontal system approaching the Southeast by then.
