MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

The leftovers of Hurricane Irma are located near the lower Mississippi River Valley, and has placed the region in a southwest wind flow.  Dry conditions aloft has limited cloudiness to this point, but the southwest wind will increase moisture overnight, along with clouds and a slight chance for a few overnight showers.  Lows will be warmer as a result, in the upper and mid 60s.  Breaks of sun are likely to increase through the morning and afternoon with a couple of stray showers.  Highs will climb into the mid 80s.  A few more showers and a couple of storms are possible later this week with the ongoing influence of onshore winds, then upper-level high pressure will lower rain risks early next week while promoting a warming trend.
