MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Showers and storms are limited in number again, with widely scattered activity possible through the late-night hours.  Otherwise, expect fewer clouds beyond that time with lows in the mid and low 70s. Wednesday will also feature times of afternoon rain and occasional thunderstorms forming along the seabreeze and various wind boundaries.  Highs will reach the lower 90s again. Temperatures rise for the end of the week as a drier air mass is forced to the south in response to the strong Hurricane Florence forecast to reach the Carolinas late Thursday or Friday.  Slight rain chance increases are foreseen early next week, with no tropical activity coming our way from the Gulf.
