MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Passing showers and a few thunderstorms are likely west of Interstate 75 in southern Georgia and in the central and western Big Bend areas through early this evening, with leftover patchy showers possible later tonight. A cold front will linger around the area tonight, keeping the region in a very warm and humid portion of the atmosphere. As a result, lows will struggle to fall below 70°, and scattered pockets of rain are likely through Wednesday afternoon as highs reach the upper 70s to low 80s, with warmer readings in the southeast Big Bend where rain will be less likely.  We'll stay mostly cloudy and occasionally showery through late Friday before a stronger push from the north shoves the cold front farther south over the weekend.
