MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Spotty showers and occasional thunderstorms will drift westward from the I-75 north Florida counties, producing times of heavy rain possible through mid-evening before showers and storms diminish late at night. Lows will be in the low to mid 70s with a few clouds around in the morning. Wednesday will feature a sun-and-cloud mix with more scattered showers and storms, perhaps favoring coastal and western counties in the afternoon with highs in the lower 90s and upper 80s. Only slight day-to-day changes are projected through this week and into the Labor Day weekend; each day will be seasonably hot with a chance for a few afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
