MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Tropical Depression Grace in the open Atlantic will face an increasingly hostile atmospheric environment in the next few days as it approaches the Leeward and Windward islands as a weaker, deteriorated low-pressure system. The system may live on beyond its tropical life span as a general disturbance moving west or west-northwest through parts of the Caribbean.
A low-pressure system near Bermuda is highly influenced by upper-level winds, and development of this feature into a more-organized disturbance will be slow to occur. Regardless of its future status, it should remain safely offshore and not pose a threat to the United States.
