TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - A new tropical depression formed in the central Atlantic. It is moving north-northwest at 8 mph however by Thursday it is expected to turn towards the northwest. Maximum sustained winds are currently around 30 mph, it is not expected to strengthen over the next few days due to unfavorable environmental conditions.
