VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) -- The National Weather service said that a tornado was detected near I-75 at Exit 16 just before 2 pm Tuesday.
So far only downed trees have been reported as damage from this tornado.
There was a tornado warning in effect for Lowndes County, but it expired at 2:30 pm.
