Thursday morning tropics check

The Atlantic Basin is still fairly inactive with only a few areas of disturbed weather out there. There is too much dry air and wind shear in the atmosphere for any areas to rapidly intensify. Do keep in mind though with September right around the corner hurricane season will begin to ramp up, and we can expect more activity in the long term outlook.
