There continues to be no activity in the Gulf of Mexico. In the Atlantic Basin, Lorenzo is struggling to hang on to tropical cyclone status. As wind shear continues to enter the cyclone and it moves over much cooler waters, it is expected to become a remnant low within the next 24 hours.
