MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- The area of potential development that has been monitored by the National Hurricane Center is now showing a HIGH chance of tropical or subtropical development in the next five days. It has a 80% chance to become a depression in that time frame. The system will likely develop well to the north/northeast of the Lesser Antilles. It is NOT a threat to land at this time.

The next name on the list for the Atlantic is Oscar.
