MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- There is only one area of interest for this Tropics check and that is the disturbance being followed northeast of the Bahamas. It has a 50% chance of developing into a depression within the next five days.
Yesterday, the chance was at 80%, but the disorganized area of low pressure has struggled to gain more organization around the apparent center of circulation. Either way, the system is not a rain threat for our region.
No other tropical threats exist at this time.
