Hurricane Season

The tropics are looking quiet today. The Atlantic Basin does not have much storm development either, as high pressure is the dominant feature there. It will prevent any tropical development in the next 48 hours. An area of low pressure is bringing unsettled weather to south Florida. More showers and storms are expected today and will accompany that area of tropical moisture. There are a few other areas of tropical moisture in the Caribbean, but none of those systems are expected to become a tropical storm or depression during the next couple of days.
