TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - We're monitoring two tropical waves in the open Atlantic due east of New England. They both only have a 10% chance of forming into a tropical system through the weekend. This is because a frontal system is sweeping through the area causing a lot of upper level wind shear to feed into these storm clusters. Couple this with the cool northern Atlantic waters, and you have unfavorable conditions to allow for a tropical system to form. Elsewhere, conditions remain quiet.
