Thursday morning Tropics check (09/04/2014)

TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Dolly is no more, and we are back to a broad monitoring of the Atlantic for any tropical waves of interest.  Currently we are eyeing a system that is being ejected from the African coastline.  It is a lone wave in an otherwise quiet Inter-tropical Convergence Zone.  It doesn't have a great chance of forming into anything in the next couple of days but for the five day outlook, it has a 40% chance of formation.  We'll keep you posted on this system and bring you further updates this afternoon.
