The tropics continue to remain eerily quiet since the dissipation of tropical storm Karen.
The only area of concern right now is an area of low pressure 75 miles north of Bermuda. Its basically just a very disorganized blob of tropical moisture that has only been given a 10% chance of development over the next 48 hours according to the National Hurricane Center.
The environment around this system is not favorable for development. This area of low pressure will continue to move north and eventually be absorbed by an approaching trough.
