Thursday morning Storm Team forecast (3/14/2013)

and last updated

Steady as she goes in the weather world. We started this morning on the cold side with lows in the 30s and 40s. Mother Nature has left the fridge door open to our north and that cool air will keep pooling in this afternoon. Despite abundant sun, highs will only climb into the middle 60s. Tonight, a ridge of high pressure (ridge) center's itself right over us dealing up the perfect set up for a cold night; many will wake with frost on windows and grassy surfaces. The aforementioned ridge will move quick south and east allowing us to warm up; we're 71° and sunny Friday afternoon with a pair of 77s Saturday and Sunday while staying sunny. Our next chance at rain, albeit small, happens with a weak slow moving front late Monday and Tuesday.

Be safe and happy Pi Day!
