MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- A string of moisture from the western Caribbean through the Florida peninsula remains in place, prompted by the swift upper-level wind pattern in the southern Gulf region, but the concentration of rich moisture and rain action has dispersed somewhat Thursday. There are no identifiable low-pressure circulations in the midst of the moisture field, so chances of any future tropical development are extremely low.
There are no other areas of concern elsewhere in the tropical Atlantic basin.
