MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) --Tropical Storm Fiona is still featured in the waters of the central North Atlantic. The Hurricane Center section of wtxl.tv has the latest information and forecast tracks for this storm.
To the east of Fiona, in the Cape Verde region, the latest tropical wave is heading west-northwest, and there is some expectation for slow organization to occur with this system over the next few days. Long-range guidance maintains some sort of better-formed tropical system to come from this disturbance next week, though the details regarding this are still quite unclear.
The next name on the Atlantic basin tropical cyclone list is Gaston.
