MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- There are four different waves of tropical or subtropical activity that are being monitored for possible development. Most of these possess limited chances for organization within the next five days:
- A batch of moisture near Bermuda is disorganized but will likely continue to hold together as it is forecast to move south, then west, through the next couple of days.
- Another area of moisture is about a thousand miles east of the Lesser Antilles with steady movement to the west-northwest.
- A vigorous low-pressure disturbance is emerging into the Cape Verde region of the eastern Atlantic with some future growth potential.
- A yet-to-develop upper-level system in the open Atlantic may have the chance to turn into a subtropical system in the next few days.
