MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Conditions in the tropical Atlantic basin are still fairly settled, with no signs of near-term tropical cyclone formation through early next week.
Some computer guidance in the longer-term attempt to hone in on a disturbance starting in the western Caribbean and drifting into the southeastern Gulf later next week. The trend is confined to one set of model data, while other commonly used models so stark disagreement. It's not enough evidence to raise alarms about tropical developments at this time, but future trends will be monitored and tracked over the next several days.
