MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The former tropical depression from the southern Gulf of Mexico is now located over land in the Yucatan Peninsula, where it is no longer being tracked as an organized tropical system.  The remnants of the low pressure circulation may traverse the peninsula and emerge in the western Caribbean Sea late this week.  Despite its possible relocation over water, a nearby front and swifter wind flow aloft will likely prevent any major re-intensification efforts this weekend.

There are no other areas of disturbed weather in the Atlantic Ocean that bear any concern for development in the near future.
