The tropics still remain fairly quiet with nothing expected to develop within the next 48 hours.

There is an upper level low pressure system in the N central Gulf that is bring increasing moisture over the eastern Gulf and FL peninsula. This low will start to drift WNW and bring scattered rain showers to our area tomorrow moving inland throughout the day.

There is also a weak upper level low centered over the SE Caribbean which will increase rain chances for Jamaica and Hispaniola over the weekend.
