Lorenzo, the former tropical storm in the north Atlantic, has rapidly lost its tropical identity and is now a post-tropical remnant low-pressure system.
Elsewhere in the Atlantic basin, a few strips of moisture stretch along the lower latitudes between the Lesser Antilles and west Africa. A disturbance connected to an upper low circulation is covering Hispaniola, and an area of concentrated moisture sits in the southern Bay of Campeche on the western end of a stationary front.
It's quite unlikely that any of these features will develop into organized tropical disturbances over the next couple of days.
